Hunting News

Due to the financial crisis the last two years we had less hunters but to us this is not really a problem as our business is not only based on hunting and we take in anyway only a limited amount of hunters per year. Rain seasons have been good and the game is doing very well. We have not increased our rates for some years but this year as the the euro is getting weaker we had to make a little adaption. Furthermore we introduced a little daily entrance and conservation fee for management of the area in terms of water, roads and other infra structure. As mentioned below we offer many activities for the family and introduced also some Hippo this year which can see in our big dam or lake.
Special offer: if you book minimum a 5 day hunt I can offer you two days free accommodation in Swakopmund at the coast. For example you come with with your family and they like to see something else we can take you for a short trip through the desert and Sossusvlei and than to the coast. here you can do some really good excursions into the namib dunes and /or a very popular boattrip at Walfishbay to see seals, waterbirds and dolphins.
Kind regards

Due to the rabbies which we had here in the country our kudu population has been hit very hard so that big bulles are getting rare. We therefore have put up the prices for kudu bulls to Euro 1200.00.

2007 was a very good hunting year although we had this terrible drought. Namibia is getting more and more popular as hunting and tourism destination. We noticed more and more people combine hunting with a tourism Safari. I do limited but very personalised guided tours to the highlights of Namibia. Apart from good hunting her we also offer as one of the leading guest farms in Namibia with several awards a good program for your wife, kids or partners like cheetah and leopard drive a game drive, horse riding, marked walking trails or a shopping tour to Windhoek. We had to up the prices for 2009 because of the oil price hikes and also the goverment has introduced the land tax in Namibia two years ago but so far my prices did not change. This year we had a very good rain season and the game look and produce very well.
Kind regards and good hunting

If there is no update one could think nothing is happening here. But it is not like that in fact we are very busy and its going very well. Not to update is a time problem for myself as I am practically alone here on the farm able to do this kind of computer work. Seeing so much time has passed since 2005 and I can only note here 2006 was very good and 2007 as well. As you might know we limit our hunters to only 20 per year which our maximum for the moment in relation to the avaiable game by this we are able to offer good quality and success. Prices for 2008 will stay the same as for 2007.
Kind regards
